Situated in the beautiful Blavet Valley, La Metairie Farmhouse offers tasteful accommodation for couples and is set in over 3 acres of lovely gardens and woodland. Our gardens wind gently down towards a small lake and continue through woodland which leads to a small river. The emphasis here is on peace and tranquility and it is the ideal location to relax and get away from the stress and strain of everyday life. There is an abundance of wildlife here and the birdsong incredible!

La Metairie was originally an old cider farm and our gites are attached to either side of the main farmhouse overlooking the orchard. Our guests are free to use the orchard and gardens for dining or leisure activities and a barbeque and garden furniture is provided.
There are lovely local walks which many of our guests have enjoyed and a little further afield, the mediaeval towns of Vannes and Josselin are within easy driving distance. The beaches of the south coast and the beautiful Golfe du Morbihan are approximately 45kms from Melrand.
As our setting is very rural there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance. However, the small town of Melrand, just a few minutes by car, has a superb French restaurant, an Italian restaurant with takeaway pizza, small shops for groceries and bread, a pharmacy, Post Office and bar/tabac.
Please note that our accommodation is for adults only. We are unable to accept children or babies and have no facilities to accommodate them.
